KINTSUGI:

THE ANCIENT JAPANESE CONCEPT OF AN ITEM BEING MORE BEAUTIFUL AFTER IT IS BROKEN. ONCE COMPLETED, THE PAINTINGS ARE MEDITATIVELY DROPPED TO THE GROUND. THEY ARE THEN ASSEMBLED ON PANEL AND DROPPED TO THE GROUND. THEY ARE THEN REASSEMBLED ON PANEL, THE CRACKS FILLED WITH GOLD LACQUER.

KINTSUGI. APPRECIATING THE BEAUTY OF BROKENNESS.
